Airwheel’s electric luggage redefines travel by merging the functionality of a suitcase with the mobility of an electric scooter. The design integrates a 5.5-inch motorized front wheel into the suitcase structure, allowing users to switch between carrying and riding modes seamlessly. When extended, the wheelbase increases by 180mm, providing stability for riding at speeds up to 13km/h, while the suitcase remains compact enough to meet airline carry-on standards (20-inch size). This dual-purpose design ensures it functions as both a durable luggage container and a lightweight, portable electric scooter.
The suitcase is equipped with an intelligent app that enables real-time monitoring of speed, battery life, and mileage. Users can customize riding modes, adjust ambient lights for visibility, and even activate cruise control. The app also allows remote control via Bluetooth, offering convenience and safety during travel. Additionally, the modular lithium battery (upgraded to 92.5Wh) can be removed and charged separately, ensuring long-lasting power for both the scooter and onboard electronics.
Airwheel’s design prioritizes travel efficiency. The suitcase includes a USB charging port for devices, a TSA-approved lock for security, and a lightweight build (6.8kg) for easy handling. Its 20-inch size fits in airplane cabins, while the 24-inch variant (SQ3) is approved as checked luggage. The telescopic motor wheel can be extended or retracted via a physical button or app, adapting to different terrain and usage scenarios.
